We are a family from Wisconsin seeking to have a productive home economy and to raise our kids to be innovative, hardworking, and honest entrepreneurs. It is important to us to create superior products made with real good for you ingredients and no cut corners on quality. Everything we make is made in small batches, is home tested, and is meant to be both useful and beautiful. While our main focus has been mastering the art of soap-making, we’ve started to branch out into other home products as well. All-Natural Handcrafted Soap
When we tried our first bar of real soap, made with oil and lye, we were amazed by how good it felt on our skin and how the yearly winter plague of dry, cracked and bleeding hands practically disappeared. After doing some research, we learned the most soap sold in stores is actually a detergent, which dries rather than moisturizes the skin. We decided that we needed to learn this lost art of soap-making, and the rest is history. We make our soap with natural oils/fats, water, lye, and essential oil scents. That’s it! Pure, simple, naturally beautiful, moisturizing soap.
Pure Vanilla Extract
Bowman Heritage 100% Pure Vanilla Extract made with vodka and fine quality Madagascar vanilla beans is a joy to bake with. Because our vanilla is made by slow diffusion of the vanilla beans into the vodka (6+ months), it has a rich vanilla flavor and still contains small specks of vanilla bean that adds greater flavor to kitchen goodies (think vanilla bean ice cream). Each bottle of vanilla contains pieces of the vanilla bean, so it will continue to get stronger as it sits on your shelf. Right now, we offer 2oz, 4oz, and 8oz bottles.

We love our farm and enjoy sharing this passion of ours with others. These photo cards are made with some of our favorite pictures we’ve taken from around the farm. We like to take pictures of the beautiful things we get to see everyday, and what better way to share them than through photo cards!
Kids Corner
One of our life goals is to create a productive home and to raise kids with good work ethics. With that in mind, we are constantly trying to give our kids open doors to use their creativity and skills to make something beautiful and usable. Bowman Heritage Kids Corner is a sub-brand of Bowman Heritage, and is the place where our kids can try to sell their creations. Look for the “Kids Corner” label wherever we sell our other products and know that you are truly buying a one-of-a-kind item and supporting young entrepreneurs.

Bowman Heritage soap can be found at several brick and mortar shops including Bluebird Bakery and Cafe in La Crosse, WI, the Nest Gallery and Art Studio in Maiden Rock, WI, and Nordic Creamery in Westby, WI. Bowman Heritage products can be found at several sales in the La Crosse area throughout the year, watch our Facebook and Instagram so you don’t miss them.
